Pursuant to section 98 of the Community Charter, S.B.C., 2003, c.26, Council for the City of Langley will be considering its 2020 Annual Report at the Committee of the Whole during the Regular Council meeting to be held remotely via video conference on Monday, June 28, at 3:00 pm.
The Committee of the Whole meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to express their opinions or ask questions about the Annual Report. The Annual Report includes the audited financial statements, information on tax exemptions, information on services and operations for 2020, and a statement of municipal objectives and the measures that will be used to determine progress respecting those objectives.
Written submissions to Council may be sent to the Deputy Corporate Officer by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by mail to the City of Langley, 20399 Douglas Crescent, Langley B.C., V3A 4B3; or by fax to 604.514.2838, by no later than noon on Monday, June 28. All correspondence submitted will form part of the public record and may be published in a meeting agenda. Copies of the Annual Report are available for public inspection at the reception counter at Timms Community Centre, beginning Tuesday, June 8, 2021, Monday through Friday (except statutory holidays) between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or may be viewed here.
