Your input is valued! Langley City invites taxpayers to attend an open house to learn more and provide feedback on the City’s draft 2024 Financial Plan on February 6th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Langley City Hall (20399 Douglas Crescent).

The annual financial plan helps City Council shape its decisions regarding the allocation of resources towards community priorities. It outlines budgetary allocations required to realize these priorities and outlines the mechanisms for funding them. City Council employs a thoughtful approach in prioritizing various projects and services, aligning them with the community’s needs, all while maintaining a careful balance with the expected financial impact on taxpayers.

The draft 2024 financial plan places a strong emphasis on bolstering public safety, strengthening fundamental services, and advancing critical capital infrastructure projects.

There is also a formal opportunity to provide input to City Council about the proposed 2024 Financial Plan during the Committee of the Whole meeting which is being held during the Regular Council Meeting at Langley City Hall on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 7:00 pm. Written submissions to Council may also be sent to the Deputy Corporate Officer ( and must be received by no later than 12:00 pm on the day of the meeting. All correspondence submitted will form part of the public record and may be published in a meeting agenda.
