Langley City's vision remains unchanged as “The Place to Be”, but in 2023-2028 Strategic Plan, the City's new mission statement became ‘Building a vibrant, safe and inclusive community together with current and future generations.’ which reflects Langley City's commitment to being a thriving community as we move into 2018 and beyond. As the mission statement outlines, the City of Langley has a number of public safety resources available to citizens including the Langley Fire Rescue Service, Langley City Emergency Program, and the joint Township of Langley Langley RCMP.
